Monsoon

30 minutes away from GABASA Monzón is a city located in the province of Huesca, being its second most populated city and the sixth in Aragon. It is the head and capital of the Cinca Medio region, as well as the seat of the Barbastro-Monzón diocese. Within the municipality are also the towns of Selgua and Conchel. It has 17,263 inhabitants (INE 2018), distributed over an area of 155.01 km². It celebrates its major festivals during the week of September 21, the day of San Mateo; and its minor festivals on December 4 in honor of Santa Bárbara.

Monzón is located under the slope of the hill of an imposing castle of Arab origin, and in an area between various hills that offer spectacular views of the city. The River Sosa and the River Cinca, the largest tributary of the Ebro, run through its territory. The mouth of the Sosa River on the Cinca River is also within the city's territory.

The visit to its castle of Arab origin s. X, is to enter the history of the Templars, the childhood of King James I and the last moments of the existence of the Order of the Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon.

In recent years this town has made a name for itself in the national sports scene with an obstacle course called the "Templar Race", which is contested through the streets of the town and nearby areas, with different events, distances and difficulties. It is considered the best steeplechase race in Aragon and one of the best in Spain.
