MontRebei-Montfalcó

Natural border between Huesca and Lleida (Aragon and Catalonia) and shares territory with the protected areas of the Natural Reserve of La Noguera and the Montsec mountain range. The Congost de Mont-rebei or Gorge of Mont-rebei is a spectacular route carved in the mountain range of Montsec by the river Noguera Ribagorzana.

The gorge is impressive for its landscape and its dimensions. At some points the width is reduced to 20 meters while at others the vertical walls rise to 500 meters. Along the way, through the path carved into the rock, there are points of great interest such as the suspension bridge of the Barranco de Sant Jaume, located forty metres above the river.

The Congost de Mont-rebei is also an area of enormous ecological value due to its endemic flora and wild fauna, in which birds of prey such as bearded vultures, vultures and golden eagles stand out. Adventurers can choose from hiking, kayaking, mountaineering, potholing and even cycling to enjoy the incredible landscape of this practically unspoilt natural area.

MONTFALCÓ FOOTBRIDGE AND SUSPENSION BRIDGE ROUTE

Landmark of hiking in Aragon, and surely, in Spain. Not suitable for people with vertigo, this route offers the hiker unbeatable views of the mountains.

CONGOST DE MONTREBEI

The river Noguera Ribagorzana makes natural border between the provinces of Huesca and Lleida, and faces the barrier of Montsec creating the Congost de Montrebei. The gorge is carved during 2 kilometers between walls of more than 500 meters.
